2.02.00 — Current patch
Patch 2.02.00 (Sep 11, 2026) is the current patch. The official notes focus on Mac cross-save, bug fixes, stability improvements and localization fixes; no major skill-system overhaul is listed.
2.01.00 — Fixes and skill-menu clarity
Patch 2.01.00 added fixes and the skill menu now visually highlights skills unlocked through specific skill-related knowledge. The patch also added the Golden Bar investment quest and increased returns from silver donations to faction funds tenfold.
2.00.00 — Crimson Desert Enhanced
Crimson Desert Enhanced introduced Abyss Links: when Abyss Artifacts are used to learn a skill, the other playable characters receive the same number of Abyss Links. Skill progress can now be reset for one character at a time, with that character's spent Abyss Artifacts and Abyss Links returned. The first load after 2.00.00 reset every character's skill progress and returned the spent resources. The update also added eight Kliff skills after a specified main-story point; the official notes do not provide their names, values or exact unlock details. It also added German, French, Spanish, Japanese and Brazilian Portuguese voices, Arabic interface text, and main-story and quest improvements.
1.18.00 — Quest Knowledge
Patch 1.18.00 added the Quest Knowledge system with eight official categories: Main Quests, Faction Quests, Investigation Quests, Research Quests, Daily Life Quests, Guide, Archive Records and Constellations. See the Quest Knowledge page for the full explanation.
1.16.00 — Trading overhaul
Patch 1.16.00 was a major trading update: 133 trading posts were added, goods and quantities were adjusted, and Pearl Abyss confirmed that trading posts which are harder to reach by wagon can produce higher profit. Our Trading guide and Trading Posts page follow this version.
