Patch 1.16.00 added 133 trading posts to Crimson Desert, with goods, quantities and profit logic adjusted. This page covers post types, regions and access. It lists only posts and details we can verify against the current version.
What a trading post is
A trading post is a location where you can buy goods, sell goods, and manage trading. Posts differ by the goods they trade, their region, and how easy they are to reach with a wagon. Since 1.16, posts that are harder to reach can produce higher profit.
Post types players ask about
| Post type | What players report |
|---|---|
| Royal trading post | Central posts in major cities; common in trading guides and used for large goods |
| Golden trading post | Higher-value posts; players ask about their exact locations |
| Goldleaf trading post | Named post tied to a region; location questions are common |
| Pailune trading post | Post in the Pailune area; region access questions |
| Trading center | Larger hub-style locations; players ask for all trading center locations |
These names come from verified trading guides and community discussion. If you are looking for a specific post, the Trading guide explains how trading works so you know what to do once you arrive.
Regions and access
Trading posts are spread across Pywel, including the major regions players search for: Hernand, Demeniss and the Pailune area. Access depends on story progress, faction standing and terrain:
- Hernand — the region around Hernand; several post-location questions mention it.
- Demeniss — the castle region; access is tied to quest progress.
- Pailune — the area associated with the Pailune faction; region-specific posts.
- Terrain — posts across rough terrain are harder for wagons but pay more since 1.16.
How trading posts unlock
New trading posts appear as you progress through related quests and regional content. Nearby threats and regional progress can affect access, so check the current quest state before treating a post as unavailable. Exact quest names and unlock coordinates are not published without current verification.
Royal posts and the Trade map
Royal Trading Posts are part of the post network, and patch 1.16 changed their trade-good pricing. Use the in-game Trade tab to filter trading posts, royal posts, wagon workshops, routes, prices and goods. For workshop services, see the Wagon Workshops guide.
How to use this page
This page deliberately lists post types and access notes rather than a full 133-post database. A complete post-by-post list requires current-version verification of every location, and we will add it when the data is reliable. Until then:
- Use the Trading guide to learn the trading loop first.
- Check the Updates hub after each patch for trading changes.
- Treat community 'best post' claims as leads, not facts — verify prices in-game before committing goods.

How many trading posts are in Crimson Desert?
